Scirocco: new opening at the airport of Catania - Fontanarossa

Catania, January 6, 2023, Lagardère Travel Retail Italia is opening the new Scirocco outlet at Catania's Fontanarossa Airport.

A leader in Italy in the Duty Free world, Lagardère is adding a new store dedicated to Fine Food, increasing its existing portfolio of outlets in the Italian territory.

Scirocco, a showcase of mostly savory typical Sicilian products, including arancini, pizzette, sarde alla beccafico, typical pasta of the day, pane cunzato, fish sandwiches and other typical regional offerings. There is, of course, no shortage of sweet offerings of the characteristic Sicilian cannoli filled with ricotta cheese, and on the shelves other products in the confectionery category as well as wines and spirits from the region of Sicily.

This new venue, named after the already well-known Scirocco present at the Catania market, is located in the airside area of the airport.
